Voucher specimens for difficult-to-identify species and noteworthy records are in the University of Iowa Herbarium. Plants of Iowa, and/or Gleason and Cronquist (1991), Manual of Vascular Plants
of Northeastern United States and Adjacent Canada (2nd edition).
