Welcome to CGRER's forecast page for the SEAC4RS Campaign

Southeast Asia Composition, Cloud, Climate Coupling Regional Study (SEAC4RS)
Planned deployment period is from October 1st to November 1st, 2012.

The Center for Global & Regional Environmental Research
at the University of Iowa is providing daily chemical weather forecasts in support of this experiment.

This is a collaboration with David Streets group ( Argonne National Laboratory),

The University of Iowa's configuration of The Weather Research & Forecasting model (WRF) coupled with Chemistry (WRF-Chem) provides simulations of meteorology, Air quality and tracers by regions at the 18km resolution. Anthropogenic emissions were developed by David Streets.

A very special thanks to Glenn Johnson and Alessio D'allura for support in developing this forecasting framework.
